Wish Tree

Growing up in Hawaii, I was honored with the experiences of different cultures.  On a recent trip to Los Angeles, I came across a wish tree in a Japanese community.  It was inspiring to catch a few glimpses of the wishes of so many people.  There were big wishes of great weath and also humble wishes of the continuance of good health.  My wishes included hopes for the future of my family, especially the future of my kids, better health for my family, and safety from natural and human disasters.  It was comforting having my hopes and concerns joining the many who have practically hoped for the same.
