My Little Princess' Hair

I've had very long hair multiple times throughout my lifetime.  I've heard people many times say I should donate my hair.  I was going to cut it anyways, so why not?  I looked into it, there are quite a few places to donate to.  However, while reading the procedures of a few of the most popular charities, I realized I wanted to donate my hair to charity that would make my donation into a wig for a child at no charge to the child and their family.  In 2013, I went into one of the participating salons to make my first hair donation to Wigs for Kids (  In doing so, my daughter was inspired to donate her own hair.

In the summer of this year, 2015, my daughter and I decided to make our donation together.  This time to Children With Hair Loss (  This time we cut our own hair and mailed it off along with a monetary donation.  My little princess and I decided that donating our hair should be something we continue to do together.
