Resolution: Skin #NOTICETHELOTUS

I can honestly admit I haven't given my skin the best care for hmmm, most of my life.  My perspective on my skin care changed a few years ago.  I turned 30, and although my wrinkles were barely noticeable, I knew I should start taking care of myself and my skin.  I also realized that my sensitive skin reactions weren't so minor but actually allergic reactions to dyes and other synthetic ingredients. (I also have bad reactions to synthetics in food, but let's focus on skin products.)

This is where derma e comes in.  Derma e  uses natural ingredients along with cruelty-free green chemistry.  Their message states, " Everything we do considers the health of you skin, the health of the planet and our overall passion for health and wellness."  Basically, derma e is skin care that cares.

If you want to give your skin and yourself the much deserved love and care, start the year off by a quick trip to Target for some derma e skin care products.

I was extremely excited to give a few derma e products a try. For 7 days I used 4 derma ebeauty products.  I was impressed most by the Firming DMAE Eye Lift.  I am not gonna lie and say my wrinkles were erased instantly, however, after a few days there was a noticeable difference.  The skin around my eyes looked smoother, brighter, and a bit tighter.  As if I had a great night's sleep.  Obviously I did not have a great night's sleep being that I tried these products starting  a few days before Christmas and I have an 8 year old and 4 year old who desperately need my full attention at the same time!

Also during this derma eproducts testing week I used their Hydrating Night Creme, Hydrating Day Creme, and the Firming DMAE Moisturizer.  After a full week of using these products my skin is softer and brighter, my skin tone is more even, and the texture is most definitely smoother and supple.  All the products I used felt light on my skin and blended easily into my skin.  A plus is that I actually liked the smell of the products, the scent is very light.  The Hydrating Night Creme definitely made my skin feel amazing in the morning.

After using these products I feel more comfortable and confident with my skin.  Being that I have had skin reactions in the past, I love love love that I can feel safe using derma eproducts.  Although I was given samples of these products for review, I will actually buy them at Target for myself as well as gifts for others.  My husband is actually a big fan of the Hydrating Night Creme for himself.

The best part of this all is that these awesome derma eproducts will be available at Target! The fact that derma e will be sold in Target means you can having amazing skin using natural ethical products at afforable prices!

This year resolve to give your skin some actual care with derma e!

My Little Princess' Hair

I've had very long hair multiple times throughout my lifetime.  I've heard people many times say I should donate my hair.  I was going to cut it anyways, so why not?  I looked into it, there are quite a few places to donate to.  However, while reading the procedures of a few of the most popular charities, I realized I wanted to donate my hair to charity that would make my donation into a wig for a child at no charge to the child and their family.  In 2013, I went into one of the participating salons to make my first hair donation to Wigs for Kids (http://www.wigsforkids.org/).  In doing so, my daughter was inspired to donate her own hair.

In the summer of this year, 2015, my daughter and I decided to make our donation together.  This time to Children With Hair Loss (http://www.childrenwithhairloss.us/).  This time we cut our own hair and mailed it off along with a monetary donation.  My little princess and I decided that donating our hair should be something we continue to do together.
